Kind brother and Chicken Soup

Well:
I think I know my body better than my doctor. I went in because I lack motivation and energy.I'm tired all the time.  He did bloodwork and it came out fine.I told him I thought I had a sinus infection but he didn't see any signs, but 3 days later all hell broke out in my head, and it  was hard just to get up and go to work , I would sleep in between work .  I got antibiotics on Thursday but by that time I have broncitis on top of it.
I feel a little better today , my brother made me homemade chicken noodle soup..and I plan on just sitting around and napping today and tomorrow.  Maybe do a few treasuries.

Homemade Chicken Soup Recipe - Reduce the length of the Common Cold By Diane Inside Chicken Soup Recipe for the Common Cold. There have been only three things that have been shown to have a real effect on reducing the length of the common cold. Chicken soup, Zinc lozenges, and Vitamin C. Homemade chicken soup is the most warming and comforting of these to help a person to relieve and shorten their bout with the common cold. A cup of chicken soup four times a day at the onset of symptoms can reduce the length of the common cold from approximately five days to three days. So here is the best recipe I have found for Homemade Chicken Soup. It is really tasty and you can add or take away some of the ingredients to taste. Homemade Chicken Soup Ingredients: Two or three chicken breasts, cooked and cut into spoon size pieces. One package of egg noodle, I like no yolks but any will work. One 14oz can of chicken broth. One 10.5oz can of cream of chicken soup. Two or three carrots, peeled and cut into small pieces. Two or three stalks of celery, cut into small pieces. Half piece of an onion, chopped salt and pepper garlic powder Chicken soup Add water to large soup pan (more water for runny, or less water for creamy soup) then add chicken breasts and chicken broth, then bring water to a boil and cook breasts whole all the way through. Once they are thoroughly cooked, take them out of the water and cut into pieces, then add them back into the water. Turn heat down to medium and add carrots, celery, and onion. Allow to cook at a slow boil till carrots are soft. Now add about half bag of egg noodles. Once egg noodles start to soften add Cream of Chicken soup and stir till it is dissolved throughout the soup. Continue cooking till noodles are soft but not mushy. Salt, pepper and garlic powder can be added to taste or not at all. I usually add pepper and leave out the salt as usually the chicken broth already has salt in it. I also add garlic powder as well, since garlic powder has a positive effect on sinuses yet in this recipe it is hardly noticeable to taste, when added at about one tablespoon. This is one of the best recipes I have found, many friends and family love this soup and ask for the recipe frequently. The best thing they like about it is the meatiness of the pieces of the chicken since usually it is large chunks. And the liquid is very tasty just to drink for relief during cold season. As I have said earlier you can add to or take away from this recipe pretty easy. Perhaps you like more carrots, or less onions. Or maybe you like dark meat as opposed to light meat. Any small changes to this recipe will not effect the overall effectiveness for relief of the common cold. I hope you enjoy this recipe and find the relief and comfort it provides our family during this winter season; So everyone have a great day.

  1. Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. Why is it that doctors don't listen to us when we tell them something about our own bodies??? Hope you are on the mend soon.

Kudos to your brother!!! I don't think mine would do that for me :(
