Friday Doctor Day

       Tomorrow is doctor day...will it be good our not so good news..My appt. is at 9:45. He will be taking x- rays to see how the femur is doing.  I will be using my walker to get in .Jen will be right behind me to break me if I start to fall. I think it will be allright if I take it slow.   (I wouldn't want to crush my daughter since she is thin)  I hope he sends me to therapy.

Storm

    

   Well, the internet had been down for about 3 hours. It was a pretty bad storm with lots of thunder and lightning.
        Hailie came over and had stuffed cabbage and mashed potatoes... it was good.  Then I used my walker to move around the house...it's a nice walk from my bedroom to the family room where I sat down for a few mins. before I headed back to my room and my  wheelchair...tomorrow I will do it two times.  Hopefully he sends me to Pt after I see him Friday.

Using the Walker Some

     Using the walker a little bit around the house today....taking it very slow....do not want to fall and break any thing else....build it up every day...,I hope he sets up therapy when I see him Friday....
     Also , I'm going to post some things for sale on here later today ..jewelry my daughter and I make..you would have to email me so I could send a paypal invoice

New Grill

Well,

 Last nite when  my grand daughter got off work we took a road trip to the Lady Lakes Sam's Club.......
We took the back roads which was quite pretty...I had to go there because my sams club was sold out and they wanted 105.00  for shipping if I ordered online ....Lady Lakes was the only one around that
t still had a few in stock...so therefor the road trip.. We had fun...
. then ate at Olive Garden in the Villages... The Villages is really nice and very big but with all the old folks it's hard to get a handicap parking space. We had a good meal the buy one for here and one to take home...it was only 12.99 a piece and you get so much ended up with a doggie bag to take home to finish later and dinner for tomorrow.

Had a fun nite out....Can't wait till Sunday ....Jax and Jorge are coming.

ps............. the grill box is in my car because it need two strong people to move and then needs to be put together   you can smoke, grill, and slow bake in this...uses charcoal.   Can't wait to try...tired of my gas grills always breaking ...back to charcoal, hopefully better.

Every day chores are harder in a wheelchair

   

      Today just seemed like it took so long to sweep up...it  is so much harder to do now ,because you have to make sure you don't get the cord under the wheels and also try to drag sweeper along as you move. Used the duster head on the blinds, but couldn't get the top rows , so Jackie is gonna finish for me. they are really dusty.  So day someone will do my windows, they are cloudy.  All in good time....... I guess I was getting a little bummed , because I can't do what I use to.

Bumpy Ride

Well, this morning I woke up to black pieces laying on the floor by my wheel chair......Coal decided to chew a few spaces in the wheel...'now I have a not so smooth ride....hopefully on Fri. the  doc starts up therapy again  and I can use the walker. The incision has closed and no more discharge , but still a little swelling...

Doc News

     Well, 
I have to do another week of wheelchair and not bending the leg and not much movement....till I see him next Friday......they are worried I could get a bone infection....so keeping my fingers crossed.
