Panthers

photoWhen Hendra looked out the window, a panther stared back at him.
"Beautiful. Looked very healthy," Hendra explained, adding it stayed on the porch for about 20 minutes.
Hendra said the big cat laid down on the porch for some time before looking back through the window, then slowly walking away. The family hasn't spotted the cat since.
Hendra said his parents have lived in the home since 1988. They reported having seen a younger panther about two years ago, but never a fully-grown cat so close to the house.
Hendra said there was, "nothing like this once in a lifetime photoOn on [sic] early morning nature walk we saw a gator, a snake, frogs, pretty birds, and had this unexpected encounter," her post stated.  "Warning...curse word at end!"
The footage has since been shared by Facebook users all over the country and picked up by a number of websites. FOX 13 has reached out to Dorschel for more about her encounter, but we have not heard anything back.
