Ryleigh 's 50 's day****

Finished her poodle in time for her 50's day. She loved it..I followed ideas on you-tube no pattern. It was quite easy for a non sewer,. Made her sister one too.

50's day

               I FINISHED THE POODLE SKIRT ON TIME FOR 50'S DAY DURING SPIRIT WEEK 
            EVEN THOUGH THE KITTY KEPT HINDRING ME. I CAN'T COUNT THE TIMES HE ATTACKED THE MATERIAL AN ALSO KNOCKED OVER THE PINS.
NOW I NEED TO MAKE ONE FOR RYLEIGH FOR 50 DAYS AT HER SCHOOL. SHE IS ONLY 4 SO IT SHOULD BE A LOT LESS MATERIAL AND TIME..IT'S ON THE 26TH. IT WILL BE PURPLE ,HER FAVORITE COLOR.

Rainy Day Work

Hi,
Haven't been on since the Hurricane...........I had a few things that needed to be dealt with. trying to make progress but I still need the wheelchair alot, the darn leg just will not get strong enough to just use the walker, still do pool therapy.
 

On a brighter note , I have been working on new soap designs. Also I am trying to cut out material for a poodle skirt for my granddaughter for spirit week and my kitty  is not cooperating. I think he has to go on screen porch and watch the birds.

IRMA

I survived Irma!!!!!!!!!!! 
  It was a bit scary .I was at my daughters on Fri when we lost power around 6 pm .  It was hot and no water because we had a well. At least we were prepared.
   When I went back home Monday, no damage to house but tree branches all over the property...some pretty big . No power till wed night.. but at least God and the power men got it on before the humidity and hot hit.  I lost most stuff in my frig but already went shopping.. Also the frig got a good cleaning, looks like new again. It was needed. 
  Yard is a mess but it will stay that way till my brother gets back. I can't clean it up in my wheel chair.

 Just want to thank God for sparing us.

Crazy weeks

Well,
 The last few weeks have been so busy............had to decide if I wanted to resign, retire or find another job within the district... I applied for 6 positions , got an interview for 5 but I could not do them because of the restriction on my shoulders. There for I picked retire  since they have no light duty for me.
A;lso the kids are back in school, Hailie is a junior, Harper is in middle school and Miss Ryleigh is in vpk.

A Day Late

Just thought I would post my kitty............Lovebug  he loves to cuddle right on your shoulder

Ever feel like time is just running into one anotheR. i HAVE BEEN A DAY BEHIND ALL WEEK. mY BROTHER WAS SHOWING ME A ONE DAY SALE FROM sAMS AND i ASKED HIM IF HE WOULD GET ME THOSE SKILLETS TOMORROW . hE SAID HE HAD TO DO TODAY... i THOUGHT IT WAS fRIDAY.. sOME HOW i LOST A DAY.  i WAS SUPPOSE TO MEET lOLA AT THE POOL TODAY. bUT on Sat it closes at three. Just looked up and I can't even type correctly.I'm hunt and peck. so I have to look at keys.
  Well, I guess I will continue cleaning.
There is alot of stuff in my closet that hasn't been used for years .I already filled 2 trash bags this week  .....I also found projects that I can do now that I.'m pretty much at home. I go out but it is really hard and tiresome.  I wish I could walk on land like I do in Pool  therapy. Sometimes I really get discouraged but I have to keep trying............enough of my pity party.....what is new with everyone else...kids go back to school on 14th  I will miss my visitors.

Been Busy

Decided to start using all the craft supplies that I had before I was disabled and still did craft shows. I started to day by cleaning my craft tables and organizing my supplies.   I was fixing all the ribbon and the new kitty thought it was fun to play with it,but I did get it done . It was a mess in that box.. Tomorrow is another day and I plan on keeping busy.
