- 1Prepared yellow or white cake – or store bought pound or angle food cake
- 3 Cups milk
- 2 -1.4oz packs vanilla instant pudding mix
- 1 8oz block cream cheese softened
- 1 8oz cool whip thawed
- 1 Cup Whipping Cream or 1 can whipped cream
- 1 Pint Strawberries washed and cut into small pieces
- 1 Pint Blueberries washed
- Graham Cracker Crumbs – Optional
- 3 tsp. powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS:
Prepare the cake as directed in a 13×11 pan. When cool, cut up into ½ inch cubes
Prepare Whipped Cream – Recipe below
In a large bowl mix milk, cream cheese, pudding mix until thick
Fold in the Cool Whip topping
Start layering the ingredients into glass jars in this order in this order:
- Fruit
- Pudding mixture
- Cake
Add some of the whipped cream to the top and garnish with berries and graham cracker crumbs for garnish
Sweetened Whipped Cream
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 – 3 rounded tsp. powdered sugar
Place your beaters and a medium glass bowl into the fridge for a half an hour before you are ready to prepare the whipped cream
When bowl and beaters are chilled add the whipping cream, vanilla and powdered sugar and beat on high speed until cream "whipped.
