Christmas was Great

       Christmas was great this year. Had all my children and grand children together. My one brother was here and did most of the cooking.We had a 1:30 dinner because their dad was down from NY and was having dinner later at his winter condo in Ocala. So after 3:30 I had the house to myself, and my brother was in the apartment behind the garage.  
      I got surprised with a GSD proof garbage can to match my kitchen.

we had to reverse all the handles on are doors so we could lock our rooms from the outside because he figured out to jump up and  open them , how long till he figures this out

 he'll be a year Dec 31

 The pressure cooker is for me but my daughter and my brother will probably use it more.

It's been a While

        The last few week have been a bit busy and crazy.  I had to get ready for a show and Christmas.
        Well, started this yesterday and then the darn phone calls and then to the docs.. i have had shoulder and neck pain for weeks now so I called early and they fit me in......I had my first .pain free nite last nite.  Hopefully when I am done with the meds it will stay that way. 
        Show was slower than Nov.  but I think everyone was doing last minuet shopping. Ornies, a few candles and jewelry.

 Sorry, this post is taking too long...had to go to therapy and the grocery store  afterwards .
Had a great Christmas dinner with the family.
I didn't put up a tree because of my GSD pup and my cat but I did decorate my family room for Ryleigh

 

We had a good dinner, my brother made ham, sweet and sour green beans, coleslaw, mashed potatoes and gravy, Jen and Mark brought  shrimp, and we had cookies  that  Hailie and the girls made.

HOPE EVERYONE HAS A GREAT NEW YEARS!!!!!

Road Trip

     Yesterday late afternoon  my grand daughter can and got me and we drove to Clearwater.   We went to check on Jax's cat while the lucky girl got to go to Vegas. They were at the Hoover Dam yesterday and a show at nite.........she had to send me a photo of my favorite 

I would like to see his show  again..I have followed him since Maggie May.. He can do any type of music ..good music like Blues, oldies not this rap crap. I saw him in Tampa  once. I think he is really good. I enjoyed the show.

     Well back to kitty..............he was fine..a little escape artist...out the front door before I could get over the threshold with my wheelchair, but Hailie caught him right away and he growled at her as she took him back inside..But a least this time no injuries.  we had a nice dinner at Panara and then headed back home. we stopped a 5 below and Hailie got most the 5.oo secert santa gifts she had to get and I got some small stuff to add to Ryleigh Christmas   .........all in all it was a good night..  needed that time away from these 4 walls. I just wish they would ok my therapy visits soon so I can get back to learning to walk again..it's already been over a week.

WREATHS

My daughters and I tried our hand at making wreaths this past weekend. 
 We watched a couple of you-tube videos to see how to do it. I also used the video I posted on how to make pointsetta bows and also did those....I think for our first tries that we did good.

It was a fun day. I'm also having to make some more cinnamon stick tree ornies because Coal decided to eat them when I had to leave him and the cat home alone.... there are still 2.
